Union College Bookstore proudly supplies the academic community with textbooks, supplies, and tools for the mind.

Location

Union College Bookstore is located in the Reamer Campus Center on the grounds of the Union College Campus. The best entrance is at the North end of campus at the intersection of Nott Street and Van Vranken Avenue.

Returns Policy

Returns should be brought to the door monitor during the first week of  classes and then to the cashier on either level of the College Bookstore from then on.

Textbook Return Policy - If you drop or change a course, the textbooks may be returned for a refund under the following conditions.

  1. All returns must be accompanied by the register receipt & a course drop/change slip. We will also ask to see your student ID.
  2. Books must be in absolutely new condition, free of all markings other than our current price sticker.
  3. Returns are accepted only for a specified period at the beginning of each term. The cut-off date for returns will be posted in the Bookstore prior to the start of the term.
  4. Tradebooks, special orders, outlines and study aids are not returnable.

Supplies Returns Policy - Returns must be made within 10 days of purchase and must be accompanied by register receipt. Aside from merchandise, all returns must be in perfect condition and in their original unopened packaging.

Buy Back Policy

The College Bookstore buys back the students' used textbooks at the end of each term. Dates are posted in the Bookstore and around campus.

Textbooks which have been requisitioned again for the next term, and for which we do not already have sufficient quantities, will be bought back at 1/2 of the new price.

All other books, providing they are the most current editions, will be purchased at the wholesale price set forth in a National Used Book Company Buyer's Guide. WE DO NOT BUY BACK: Books not listed in the Buyer's Guide, books being revised, old editions, reprints, packaged materials, or annual editions.

Study guides and workbooks must be in absolutely clean condition.
